Monico Felipe Agpaoa's Obituary
It is with great sadness to share the passing of Monico Felipe Agpaoa. Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary is honored to be serving the Agpaoa family.
“Tata” Monico passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 31, 2021 at the age of 86. He was born in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Florentina Agudong Felipe and Severo Tagami Agpaoa. He was a police officer in Sarrat before immigrating to Honolulu where he eventually retired as a carpenter. In retirement, he earned his GED from Farrington High School and enjoyed hanging out with his friends while selling bananas on N. King Street. Dad touched the lives of many with his generosity, words of wisdom, and strong work ethic. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marcia; sons Roy (Roda), Ari (Kimberly), grandsons Logan, Carter & Mason; sisters Violeta Batoon & Zenaida (Antonio) Segundo; stepchildren Marlynn Calvo, William (Janel) Dumlao & Corazon Dumlao. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Private services are being arranged.
