Monina Taligatos Piniol's Obituary
Monina Taligatos "Inday" "Nena" Piniol, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away August 18, 2017 in Waipahu at the age of 86. Born in Makato, Kalibo Aklan, Philippines to parents Isidro Taligatos and Anacleta Leonardo Taligatos, Monina was a retired housekeeper for the Waikiki Hyatt Regency Hotel.
She is survived by loving husband, Jose Sipisip Piniol; children, Liza (Danilo) Piniol Romualdo, Rey Piniol, Lodie (Patrick) Piniol Celebrado, Joseph (Lourdes) Piniol and Angelito (Dena) Alcantara; 11 grandchidren, 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral wake services will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m.; service at 6:30 p.m.
A second visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Service 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
