I am truly heart broken and saddened about the passing of your beloved Monique!
I just recently found out that Sweetheart Monique passed away.
I am very saddened and in shock.
I worked for Mr. Robert T.
Colson at PM&O Line for almost ten years.

This is a situation where words do not come close to conveying emotion. I met Monique, as well as many who have posted here, while working for AHC (SSI & SSC - 1988-90 & 1995). The shocking realization that the AHC family has lost angel, while heaven gains one embarrasses me because of the selfish feelings I have. Let's talk about beauty. She was born with a grand abundance of it inside and out. From her sparkling eyes to her wonderful smile to her magnetic personality and practiced professionalism... I think everyone had a admired and/or had crush on her at some point, and rightfully so. The true highlight for me was reconnecting with her on FB last year. I am sure I was just a passing face in the hall, but the kindness that was Monique had us speaking of reuniting here on Oahu for lunch or dinner someplace. My hours and schedule never seemed to allow it. So, sadly I have been forced to take a rain check with my faith granting me the patience for cashing it in when we meet again.With the world a bit dimmer now I say, "Rest in peace" to a person that everyone loved... Monique and I worked together and on the two different ships as Shore Excursionista's. Monique also came to visit me in New York. Monique was one of a kind and the news of her death just bowls me over. She was so full of life and laughter. I am so grateful for the laughs and tears we shared. Much aloha to a beautiful spirit. I have no words to convey how saddened I am to hear of Monique's passing. Monique and I had so many wonderful times together after meeting in 1980 on the Independence. In 1990, we spent 3 weeks in Europe traveling mostly by train and we stayed with some of her relatives in Holland for a few days. Monique had a heart of gold and was adored and loved by so many.
