Muriel Joyce Fernandez (Gugudan), born on September 8, 1938 to Filomena Mary Sambueno and Julio Gugudan in Honolulu, Hawaii. Muriel passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 she was 78 years old. Muriel was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She is survived by her husband, Boniface “Boni” Fernandez; daughter, Debra (Paul) U. Needham; brothers, Franklin L. Gugudan James R. Gugudan and Douglas W. Gugudan; sister, Carmelita Gonsalves; grandchildren, Tatum (Curtis) Moore, Royce, Stone and Seth Needham; Great-grandchildren, Roman "Kahi", Lola and Ikaika.
Celebration of Life Service for Muriel will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.; service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
