Muriel Mapuana Kahoonei's Obituary
Muriel Mapuana Kahoonei, a resident of Wai‘anae, O‘ahu passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her residence. Born to Herbert Leslie, Sr. and Ida K. Kaonohi in Honolulu, Hawai‘i on September 29, 1933. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the State of Hawaii, Department of Education at Nanakuli High School.
She is survived by Sons, Gary Kahoonei, Gregory Kahoonei, Jenson Kahoonei and Patrick Kahoonei; daughters, Gail, Louise and Laurie; sister, June Borden; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren
Service for Muriel will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.; service to begin at 10:30 a.m. burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter.
