My great-grandma always was my best friend, always made me smile even as I grew older and more grumpier as a tween. I’ll miss her deeply for the rest of my life but will continue to remember her faith of the Lord and love for family.
-Sophia (great-granddaughter)
I was very happy to have you come to my 80th birthday and your birthday together because you never go anywhere at night.
I will always remember your smile, your voice, and the warmth you always welcomed me and my family. Every time we saw you, you were always so happy, and I loved hearing your laugh especially when it came from my goofiness. You always took the time to ask how everyone in my family was doing, and that meant more than you probably knew.
Thank you for welcoming me into your family and making me feel so loved. My favorite memory of you is truly every moment i got to see you, because you always paused to spend time with me and listen to my stories. Your kindness will stay with me forever.
I will miss you deeply, Mom Naira. 🤍
Aunty, you probably remember more than me since you cared for me and JB as babies. Thank you for helping us get n tough times. I’ll always remember you making food, usually eggs and Vienna sausage w/ rice. I will always remember your house during firework holidays. When you got mad that we were lighting the “Screamers” and throwing them down the manhole haha! Sorry that we were kolohe. Love and will always miss you.
You taught me strength from a very young age and because of that I’ve instilled it in my own children. I love you and miss you tremendously mom.
