My mom had a passion for Jesus and music and her greatest joy was planning for the worship team at Central SDA church in Nu`uanu. She would sit for hours listening to YouTube videos to select the songs for her church to sing as they worshipped God. As she became older, it was difficult for her to climb the stairs at the front of the church. The church asked if she wanted a chair. She declined, saying she would always stand in Godʻs presence.
