Nancy Jordan Pettiford, 71, of Ewa Beach, Oahu, passed away on June 28, 2015. She was born on October 3, 1943 to William Henry Jordan and Elaine H. Davis in Washington, D.C. She was a retired Pearl City High School teacher.
She is survived by husband, Charles J. Pettiford, Jr.; sons, Charles J. (Lauren) Pettiford III, Carl I. (Anika) Pettiford; daughters, Pamela E. (Jason) Meives, Lisa F. Smith; brothers, William H. Jordan Jr., Raymond H. Jordan; sister, Joyce E. Jordan; 10 grandchildren, Tiffany H. P. Miller, Kelly P. Cousins, Conner L. Pontious, Audrey D. Lambert, Brandon A. Pettiford, Brian A. Smith, Jay K. Smith Jr., Charis M. Pettiford, Adely N. C. Pettiford, Janelle L. G. Pettiford; six great-grandchildren, Basil S-M Cousins, Phinn C. P. Cousins, Colin J. P. Cousins, Prue E. J. Cousins, Kenyon N. K. Peralta. She was preceded in death by: parents, William and Elaine Jordan, daughter, Linda F. Pettiford; sister, Doris I. Bowman; great-granddaughter, Hazel A. M. Cousins.
Visitation: 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
