Nelson Willie Mize 's Obituary
Nelson Willie Mize, 88, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 9, 2014. He was born in Seneca, South Carolina on July 1, 1926. He was a retired Security Guard for the Federal Government and a retired Sergeant First Class for the United States Army.
He is survived by wife, Jeanette Mize; sons, Randy (Lynna), Larry, Johnathan (Montisha) and Jason (Leitisha) Mize; stepson, Norman Parsons; daughters, Debbie (Roger) Davis, Diane (Mike) Stevenson, Shelby (Greg) Alvaro and Jolene (Joseph) Mize; step-daughters, Tracy Martin and Lynette Vierra; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Odel Mize and Dwight (Lou) Mize; sisters, Betty Jean (Ken) Magaha and Willene Moore.
Visitation to his funeral service will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 11:00 a.m., with committal service to follow 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
