Neola "Ipo" Kuuiponohea Figueroa's Obituary
Neola “Ipo” Kuuiponohea Figueroa, 74, of Kailua, Hawaii passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 peacefully at the Oahu Care Facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born to Roel Perkins and Neola Holbron on November 21, 1941 in Ho‘olehua, Molokai, Hawaii. She was a Nurse’s Aide at the Maluhia Skilled Nursing Facility.
She is survived by sons, John Figueroa and Alfred Figueroa;
daughters, Mabel Wright, Winifred Borling, and Angie Cateil;
brother, Lowell “Alika” Perkins; sister, Ilona “Faye” Halmas;
partner, Manuel Rosa; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Chaplain Frank Figueroa will be presiding over services which is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; Visitation 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.; service to begin at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
