Nevin L. Dyogi,
Nevin 71, of Kapolei, Hawaii passed away peacefully on April 23.
Born on Aug 18, 1954, in Manila, Philippines. Nevin lived a life devoted to God, family, friends and the joys of traveling.
He served 21 years in the U.S. Navy which includes assignments in Japan and Hawaii. After his military service, he worked for Hawaiian Airlines for 22 years.
Nevin was a member of the Pearl Harbor Hickam Chapel. He enjoyed his many travels with his with wife and always looked forward to visiting his son and daughter-in-law, and his siblings and their families in California. The joy of a cooking and gardening were always shared amongst family and friends. Always giving and providing to those most important to him, he became an individual you could always rely on and confide in.
He is survived by Doris, his wife of 45 years, and sons Joshua and Aaron, daughter-in-law, Elisabeth, and sisters and brother.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at St.Jude Catholic Church in Makakilo at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 15th followed by internment with military honors 1 p.m. At the Hawai’i State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe.
Nevin will be deeply missed and remembered for the love he gave freely and the light he brought to those around him.
