Nicolasa Sarmiento Salvador's Obituary
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Nicolasa Sarmiento Salvador passed away August 30, 2017 at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her husband Hilarion Salvador, son Onofre Salvador, and grandson Jerome Diric. Nicolasa was born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on November 15, 1919 to parents Ambrocio Sarmiento and Anselma Pascua Sarmiento, and was a former hotel housekeeper and packer for the Hawaii Tuna Packers.
She is survived by children, Angela (Orlino Diric, Sr.) Diric, Rudy (Erlinda) Salvador, Renato (Epifania) Salvador, Cesar (Luzviminda) Salvador, Ambrocio (Elma) Salvador and Ofelia (Ernesto) Rabanal; sister-in-law Teresita Salvador; brothers, Amado (Dionicia) Barroga, Sergio (Saludis) Barroga and Angel Barroga; sister, Nemesia Bistayan; grandchildren, Sharon (Alexander) Guillermo, Nathaniel (Phaedra) Salvador, Janah Salvador, Orlino (Catherine) Diric, Jr., Rodney (Cristina) Salvador, Crystal Jane Salvador, Jordan (Erin) Salvador, Niko (Geraldine) Salvador, Maxyne (Roland) Considine, Wealth Mele Salvador, Caroline (Gerald) Ulep, Katherine (Bryant) Salvador, Julius Ceasar Salvador, Sheena Marie Salvador, Eric Salvador, Chelsea Lei Rabanal; great-grandchildren, Ellerick Reigndale Guillermo, Alexis Dianne Guillermo, Althea Khamille Guillermo, Natalie Anne Salvador, Draven Jade Salvador, Janicah Joy Salvador, Jaeda Celeste Salvador, Deangelo Raphael de Leon, Delaney Gabriel de Leon, Riley Kiera Salvador, Jerin Ryler Salvador, Jorel Elijah Salvador, Kylee Rin Salvador, Nicholas Salvador, Harper Salvador, Tyson Considine.
Wake services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m., and a Prayer Service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
An additional service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
