Orlando Pasalo Layugan, 66, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on November 17, 2016. Orlando was born on March 28, 1950 in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Petra Cabacungan Pasalo and Bonifacio Pascua Layugan.
Orlando was a life insurance agent for New York Life and a senior construction engineer for National Irrigation Administration (NIA).
Orlando is survived by his wife, Helen Ulep Layugan; sons, Ian Sherwin Layugan, Wayne Orly Layugan and Orlando Ulep Layugan, Jr.; mother, Petra Pasalo Layugan; brothers, Engr. Mario (Vicenta “Aida”) Layugan, Engr. Bernard (Ronelia) Layugan, Engr. Esteve (Mariegina) Layugan and Dr. Angel (Dr. Yvonne) Layugan; sister, Carmen (Medardo) Rocimo; nieces and nephews, Kristine, Daniel, Jeremy, Charlene Mae, Earon and Isaac.
Celebration of life service for Orlando will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., wake service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa (located at 712 North School Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817) with visitation from 10:30 – 10:45 a.m., Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m., and burial to follow 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
