Paciencia "Pacing" Aveiro's Obituary
Paciencia “Pacing” Aveiro, 73, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on July 5, 2015. She was the fifth of six children born to Herman Calbero Sr. and Agrifina Quiday in Sulvec, Narvacan, Philippines on May 10, 1942. She was a retired waitress.
She attended and graduated from Lanai High School then after attended Honolulu Technical School. She was a homemaker and a waitress. She retired with waitressing after 30 years, once done she committed her loving time with raising her grandchildren.
She lived in Kaneohe and was married to Douglas H. Aveiro Sr. They were married on August 18, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She had many special friends for whom she worked with from the Tiki Tops Restaurant and Bowling. She was actively involved with the Womens Bowling League at Pali Lanes.
Paciencia was an optimistic, feisty, family oriented, caring, and compassionate woman who loved spending time with her grandchildren and going on trips to Las Vegas. She was a music lover of the 50’s and 60s time.
She is survived by husband, Douglas Aveiro Sr.; sons, Douglas Aveiro Jr., Dereck Aveiro; brothers, Herman Calbero Jr., Evelio Calbero, Marcelino Calbero and five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son, Mark Aveiro.
Visitation: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Friday July 31, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 11:30 a.m.; burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
