Paterno Sonajo Albano's Obituary
Paterno Sonajo Albano, 74, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on July 18, 2015. He was born in Brgy. 4, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Eustaquio Albano and Matilde Sonajo; he was the eldest of eight children.
He married Marina Ramos Baltazar and they lived Honolulu, Hawaii. Most important events in his life were his wedding, coming to Hawaii, the birth of his daughter and visiting family in California. He was a member of the Catholic faith and he loved farming, landscaping and gardening. He was a very hardworking family provider who enjoyed all kinds of Ilokano songs.
He is survived by wife, Marina Baltazar Albano; daughter, Precy (Drexell) Libed; grandchildren, Alexerd and Kyla Libed; sisters, Salvacion (Emiliano) Agmata, Remedios (Alberto) Gumayagay, Ernesta Agudong, Gloria (Ermoginiz) Prieto and Lusvimin (Modesto) Daranciang; brothers, Reynaldo Albano and Corazon (Janet) Albano; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation to his evening wake service will be held from 5:30-9:00 p.m., will held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; with service to being at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be held from 8:30-10:15 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. Philomena Catholic Church; with Mass to begin at 10:30 a.m. and burial to follow 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples memorial Park.
