Paul Holualoa Akau's Obituary
Paul Holualoa Akau, 52, of Waimānalo, Oahu passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Born to Robert Saint Akau, Sr. and Lucy Noelani Lonomaaikanaka Mia in Honolulu, Hawai‘i on September 28, 1963. He was a elementary school teacher for the State of Hawaii, Department of Education, pastor of Kupuna Church, Librarian/Community Liaison.
Paul is survived by his Wife, Zeoma T. T. Akau; Son, Kalaninui Akau;
Daughters, Kapualoke (Jason) Renaud and Noe (Gavin) Fujinaka; brothers, Robert Akau, Jr. and Alan (Lorrena) Akau; sisters, Marbeth Aquino and Jonett (Salele) Aliifua; five grandchildren, Cameron Renaud, Mehana Fujinaka, Kalehua Renaud, Kahikina Renaud and Kalawai‘a Renaud.
Celebration of Life service for Paul will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawai‘i 96744); visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.; service to begin at 11:30 a.m. with Kahu Kordell Kekoa of Kamehameha Schools to officiate ; burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
