Paulette Kort, my dear hula sister of Ilima Hula Studio. I just found out and I am I’m so sad. One of the most beautiful hula dancer ever…….she danced with so much grace and love. She exemplified all that not just a hula dancer is….but what a great person/friend could ever be. She called me a few years ago to just get together….and remember her our good young days of dance and friendship. I can kick my own butt for not answering or quickly answering that opportunity to see and be with her. She now dances with all of God’s angels in Heaven. I will always love you Paulette and remember your graceful body gliding at the hula studio. Aloha to Our Kumus, Louise and Luka

Remember when Reg and I were working at the Waialae Shell station and whenever we wanted to go somewhere he had to run over to the Jolly Roger to talk to Bones first...and when ever we were in town, we'd get together to eat, drink, and talk story...RIP both, you will be missed. To their ohana...know you were loved and always first in their hearts and minds. Best wishes in the future.
Aunty Paulette you will surely be missed. You had a heart of Gold. Rest in Love and Peace.

My sweet Aunty Paulette. You had a heart of Gold.
So much memories of you I will cherish forever.
Rest In Peace and Love. Your niece Jenny

I wish I could have known her and her dear Husband Reginald. To my friend Roger Kort and the entire family, please accept my sincere respect and condolences. I wish I could be there at the funeral for both of them, but I am living in Paris and won’t be able to make it. I know you will all remember the lifetime that Paulette and Reginald spent together.
Sincerely,
Martin Grant
