Pauline Lupua Akina's Obituary
On March 15th, 2017, Pauline "Lupua" Akina (Fernandez)
at the age of 71, a retired Judiciary Clerk, an alumna of the Kamehameha Schools for Girls, Class of 1963 since kindergarten, was called home by Our Heavenly Father. She was born on June 8th, 1945. "Lupua" is survived by husband, Daniel "Danny: Akina: daughter, Shellone "Nomilo" Akina-Keanaʻaina (Wilsam); son, Crayn "Kauahi" Akina; grandchildren, Ashton, Ashlee, & Aiko Keanaʻaina; mother, Florence P. Perreira; father, Paul Fernandez; brothers, Vernon Fernandez (Betty); Alan Fernandez (Paz); Gabriel "Gabby" Kalawaiʻa (Rozalyn); Francis Crabbe; Nolan Fernandez (Florence); Ryan Fernandez (Merri); Guy Perreira (Moani); Myron Fernandez (Sarah); Gregory Perreira (Lisa); sisters, Michelle "Kaulumahiehie" Amaral (Albert); Joann "Nanea" Perreira; Charlene Fernandez; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation and services will be held on MOnday, April 17th, 2017 from 5-9pm at Hawaiian Memorial Chapel Kaneʻohe and burial on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 from 10-11am at Valley of the Temples, Aupunilani Gardens.
