Peter Kainoa Makali'i Jr. 's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Peter Kainoa Makali’i Jr., who passed away in Kaneohe on January 24, 2014. He was born on October 30, 1954 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Peter Kainoa Makali’i Sr. and Margaret June Sampaio. Peter was the oldest of four children. He attended J.B. Castle High School. Upon graduation he began his career as in Construction and Rock Wall Building. He retired in 2001 after serving more than 25 years. He married Cindy Ann Fuller.
Peter was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He truly believed in God. His most important even in his life was the birth of his children, living life to the fullest just being with his family celebrating through singing.
Peter was a spontaneous, loving, loyal and protective man whose favorite past times included Carving, and Net Fishing. He enjoyed Hawaiian Traditional and Contemporary Music.
He is survived by daughters, Chyenne Kealoha Makali’i and Kawai Lehua Kau’i Makali’i; sons, Kainoa Iokepa Makali’i and Koa Ikaika Makali’i; sisters, Debra Kau’i Makali’i-Diaz and Cindy Mae Puanani Makali’i-Crawford; brother, Lester Kealoha Makali’i; special friends, Kelly Umiamaka and Cheyenne Turalde.
