I wanted to write and send my regrets and condolences for your Dear Father. I did not have the privilege of knowing him, but Erik I knew you back when, as you and I were both at Ahuimanu Elementary school in Temple Valley back in… was it 1975?
It’s been a long time. I was in the 6th grade, and I think you were 5th. I know your pain as I too have lost a parent. Both of them in fact. First Mom in January 2010, then Dad in April 2012.
Erik, I have not seen you since our time at Ahuimanu together as life took us on our separate journeys. I got married in 1982, retired from HECO in 2016 and moved to Paris France that same year and my Wife and I are still here.
Again, please accept my sincere condolences for your terrible loss.
