Philip Takashi Okubo's Obituary
Philip Takashi Okubo, 87, of Honolulu, passed away July 27, 2017. He was born in Honolulu on November 4, 1929 and was a retired plumber for the Plumber's Union Local 675 and the State of Hawaii. He was also a veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Okubo is survived by his wife, Violet A. Okubo; son, Alan M. Okubo; daughter, Sharon A. Okubo; sister, Pearl Y. Ohashi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Diamond Head Mortuary, 535 18th Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96816. Visitation 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Buddhist services 10:30 a.m. with reception to follow. Family requests no flowers and casual attire.
