Polly Villa Corpuz's Obituary
Polly "Carpo" Villa Corpuz, 79, of Honolulu, passed away February 9, 2017 at Straub Hospital, Honolulu. Born in Pila, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to parents Pascual Corpuz and Maria Villa Corpuz, he was an educator and head teacher in the Philippines, and a retired construction carpenter and condominium superintendent in Honolulu. Polly was preceded in death by his parents and son, Paulie Corpuz.
He is survived by beloved wife, Erlinda; sons, Ray (Lourdes) Corpuz and Roger (April) Corpuz; daughter, Elizabeth (Jamal) Maghfour; six grandchildren; sister-in-law, Melani Corpuz.
Services for Polly will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. with a wake service beginning at 6:30 p.m.
A second service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Church (2324 Omilo Lane, Honolulu). Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
