Purisimo Gacusana Gadingan Sr.'s Obituary
Purisimo Gacusana Gadingan Sr., 83, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Kuakini Medical Center. He was born on December 8, 1932 to Remegio Gadingan and Filomena Gacusana in Candon, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He was a retired laborer with Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc.
Purisimo worked for Hawaiian Dredging and Construction Company, after 24 years of service he retired in 1995. His passion was raising chickens and fighting them at various chicken fighting locations. He enjoyed the company of his family.
He was married to Luisa Tan Gadingan. They were married in January of 1984 at Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He is survived by wife, Luisa Tan Gadingan; son, Purisimo “Primo” Gadingan Jr.; daughter, Clairissa Vallejo Gadingan; brothers, Victor Gadingan, Rudy Gadingan, and Jesus Gadingan; sisters, Alejandrea Castor, Norma Ramos, Gloria Mendoza, Josefina Tanega, Paz Sarte, and Susan Montalvo.
Visitation 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional service Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with a burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
