Raul Lagazo Tabieros' Obituary
Raul Lagazo Tabieros passed away on March 13, 2022 at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas. He was born on September 3, 1962 in San Juan Rizal, Metro Manila, Philippines to his parents Simeon and Rosita Tabieros. He is survived by his son Andrew Udani Tabieros, along with six siblings: Juanito “Johnny”, Myrna, Danilo, Perlita “Pearl”, and Simeon Jr. “Sam”, and Eleanor “Ely”.
In 1971, he made the journey to Hawaii with his mother Rosita along with his five siblings. He attended Kalihi Uka Elementary School, Dole Intermediate School and graduated from Farrington High School in June 1981.
For two decades, Raul worked at Foodland, starting in December 1979. He began his career as a bagger and cashier before rising to the position of Produce Merchandiser in the Produce Department. His exceptional eye for selecting fresh fruits and vegetables, combined with his talent for artistic displays, did not go unnoticed. He was frequently tasked with overseeing newly and underperforming stores to enhance their sales performance. In 2002, he moved to Las Vegas and began working at Albertsons grocery store, where he continued to demonstrate his skills in the produce section. Raul was looking forward to celebrating two decades of service with Albertsons in April 2022.
Raul was a father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the love he shared with those around him.
Raul’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
