Ray Tadayuki Imada's Obituary
Remembering a Kindhearted Judo Teacher & Our Ray of Sunshine
We remember a father, husband, and friend whose kind, compassionate, happy, and soft-spoken nature guided every part of his life. His gentle voice carried steady confidence, and his kindness set the tone for every room he entered.
Judo was his lifelong passion, and he built a career as a judo instructor, coach, and business owner. The dojo was more than a workplace; it was the place where he poured his heart into teaching and helping others.
He spent countless hours guiding kids through the values of sportsmanship, fair competition, and compassion. Those lessons stretched far beyond the mat, shaping how many young people now carry themselves in daily life.
Families in the community trusted him because he gave his time freely, motivated only by love for judo and for the children who walked through his doors. Many of his students have gone on to achieve great things, each success echoing the patience and dedication he once showed them.
We hold close the memory of his steady support and the warmth he shared so naturally. Though he is gone, the lessons he taught and the compassion he modeled will stay with us, guiding every bow, handshake, and act of kindness that follows.
