Raymond "Chico" Bartolome Gonzales, 84, of Kaneohe, Hawaii went peacefully on May 17, 2012. Born July 6, 1927 in Kaeleku, Hana, Maui. He was a retired T/SGT United States Air Force for 22 years; worked with the Civil Service, packing & crating for 20 years; St. Ann's Church/School maintenance supervisor for 6 years; an active baseball and softball coach & player.Survived by wife, Marie; daughters, Virginia "Gina" (Thomas) Aragon, Pauline (Stanley) Abalos, and Elaine (James) Gonzales; sons, Raymond Joseph (Gayle--deceased) Gonzales, Mark (Malama) Gonzales, and Charles (Wendy) Gonzales.Funeral Service on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Waikane; visitation 10-11:30 a.m., family service 11:30 a.m., Mass 12:30 p.m., committal service 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.To all the family, hanai family, friends, doctors & nurses, we extend our sincerest appreciation for sharing & caring for my husband & our Dad.
