Raymond Wai Sung Chong's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Raymond Wai Sung Chong, born November 8, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents Edward (deceased) and Dora Chong. He was the 1st of 3 children. He attended McKinley High School and BYU-Hawaii. He earned his associates degree in Business Administration. After graduating, he began his career as a Fish Peddler and Driver for his father’s Fish Business in 1963. He retired in 1993 as business owner of Mokaue Kitchen. His most important event was the birth of his daughter, Kristine. Raymond was described as a generous, caring, and very quiet man. He enjoyed watching football, eating Chinese food, and custard pie. Passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii. Raymond is survived by daughter, Kristine Chong; mother, Dora Chong; brother, Charles (Ellen) Chong; sister, Doreen Enokawa; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
His services will be on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00a.m., service will begin at 11:00a.m. Inurnment will be at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00p.m.
