Richard Francis Leandro's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Richard Francis Leandro, 95, of Waianae, Hawaii, who passed away on November 30, 2014 at his home in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He was the first local Musician to play the Electric Fender Bass Guitar. He was a retired free lance musician for the Federation of Musicians, Local Union 677, owner/designer of Richard Leandro’s Body & Fender & Design, and a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by wife, Florence Sumie Leandro; son, Gary R. (Warlita) Leandro; four grandchildren; sisters, Drucilla Ho and Hazel Wise.
Visitation: 8:30-10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church-Waianae; Mass to begin at 10:00 a.m., with inurnment at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific--Punchbowl.
