Richard Mitsuo Yano's Obituary
91, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021. Born on April 14, 1930 to Gunzo and Matsue Yano, Richard grew up in Laie and graduated from Kahuku High School in 1948. After serving 5 years in the Air Force, he become one of City Bank’s 17 original employees and retired after 35 years of service. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Doreen; daughters, Lyanne Yano-Figart (Stephen) and Christy Yano-Ortega (Gabriel); brother Ronald; beloved by grandchildren, Ethan, Elyse and Emilie. Closed service on June 18, followed by visitation at Valley of the Temples Lower Chapel from 10:30am to 11:30am. Burial to follow.
