Robert A. Baptiste's Obituary
Robert A. Baptiste Sr., 91, of Honolulu, passed away on December 13, 2024. Mr. Baptiste was born in Paia, Maui.
He was a Federal Civil Service retiree and a MSG US Army Retiree. Among his military decorations were the Combat Infantry Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Purple Heart, Two Bronze Stars, and the RVN Cross of Gallantry.
He is survived by his wife, Chau, sons Robert Jr., Warren, and Kevin. Daughters Brenda Kaapana and Rovena Varde. Sister Amy Levi of Arizona and Peggy McCalmant of Idaho, 18 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Valley of the Temples Trousdale Chapel on January 21st, 2025. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM, followed by services at 10:00 and a Burial with full military honors at Hawaiian State Veteran's Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
