Robert "Bob" Joseph Ambrosewicz's Obituary
Robert Joseph “Bob” Ambrosewicz, 70, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Airlines crew scheduler and an Air Force veteran, died in Honolulu on June 6, 2014. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut (where he lived until 1962) to Joseph Ambrose and Mary Ellen Dwyer; he was the second oldest of four children. He attended Naugatuck High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force; he was discharged in 1968 after serving four years. After an Honorable Discharge, he was employed at Hawaiian Airlines from 1968 until he retired in 2003. He married Marjorie Loo on September 19, 1974 and they lived in Honolulu, Hawaii. He loved ALL people and life. His favorite hobbies and past-times were: tennis, bicycling, and was a spectator of all sporting events.
He is survived by wife Marjorie M. J. Ambrosewicz; daughter, Dianne (Kaulana) Park; son, Daniel (Lori Ann) Ambrosewicz; sisters, Jo-Ann (Robert) Aquavia, Sharon (Peter) Zguzenski and Jean Orsatti; and five grandchildren, Dante Park, Micah Park, Oliver Ambrosewicz, Kawai Park, and Madeline Ambrosewicz.
Visitation to his funeral service will be 4:30-9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Diamond Head Mortuary; celebration of life services to begin at 6:00 p.m. Private burial.
