Robert Abecia Cabreros' Obituary
Robert was a simple and happy go-lucky person who loved music.
He was born on December 03, 1951 and raised in Cebu City, Philippines by his parents, Panfilo Arriba Cabreros and Felipa Abecia Cabreros. He was the 4th of 7 children. His siblings include Tomas, Edna, Allyn, Fe, Voltaire (deceased), and Luna.
During his childhood, he was an altar server and participated in Catholic religious activities. In his mid-teens, as his love of the "Beatles" grew, he joined the combo band and played as a drummer. They performed at various well-known spots in Cebu City. After finishing college in Cebu, he moved to Manila. He worked as a TV Master Control Operator for Kanlaon Broadcasting System on RPN Channel 9in Quezon City Philippines.
Robert met Lolita San Jose in 1974, and they got married shortly thereafter. Ther were blessed with 3 children: Bobby, Timmie, and Pennylane.
Robert worked in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for quite some time to ensure the well-being of his family.
Robert and his family migrated to Hawaii in 1999 where their started a new life. Through hard work and determination, they eventually achieved significant success. Roberts work at a TV Station led him to secure a position as a TV Broadcast Technician at Trinity Broadcasting Network KAAH TV-26 Honolulu HI until his retirement.
Robert was a remarkable person in his own way. His generosity knew no bounds, an extraordinary soul who is well loved by his family and friends forever.
