Robert Paieie Kila Sr.'s Obituary
Robert “Uncle Bobby” Kila Sr. big, loving Hawaiian heart
sadly succumbed to chronic ailment on December 17, 2020
after blessing us with 78 years of his beautiful spirit.
Uncle Bobby was born on April 17, 1942
to Beven Kila Sr. & Rose Kauhane.
Raised in the Kakaako area, he graduated from
McKinley High School in 1961.
Uncle Bobby retired from Matson Navigation Company
after 42 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Velmar Kila; daughters,
Tracey Kila and Ann Kila-Kiko Perez (Joseph); sons,
Robert Kila Jr. (Raceine) and Charade Kila (deceased);
12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Uncle Bobby was a humble, kind and gentle man,
greatly cherished by his many friends & loving family.
Uncle Bobby’s legacy of Love & Aloha lives on
through everyone whose lives he touched.
He will be remembered for treasuring every moment
of life knowing tomorrow is never promised.
Uncle Bobby will live in our hearts & memories forever.
