Robert Louis McKee Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Louis "Lou" McKee, Jr., age 70, of Kaunakakai, Molokai, Hawaii, passed away January 30, 2018 at Castle Medical Center in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii. He was born May 8, 1947 in Honolulu, and was the former owner of McKee's Meats in Kaunakakai and the Molokai Hilltop Cottage and Condo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He is survived by wife, Kehau McKee; son, Christian "Chris" (Sweet) McKee; daughters, Nalia (Nathan "Paul") Yasso and Aspen (Aylett) Wallwork; grandchildren, He'ili, Kawena, Milan, La'ahia, Madison, Emma, Olivia, Hali'a; great-grandson, Kahakulani.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Kaunakakai Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 299 Kamehameha V Highway, Kaunakakai, Hawaii 96748. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the Kaunakakai Veterans Center at 12:00 p.m.
