Robert “Mac” McClung Sr.
80, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2013 and was surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Trout, Greenbrier City, West Virginia on September 3, 1932.
After serving 20-years, as a MSgt in the United States Air Force, he retired spending most of his time in Hawaii. Upon his retirement in 1969, he started the next phase of his career as a general contractor in Ewa Beach where he worked for another 20- years. In 1989, Robert started his last and most beloved career as a business owner and pawnbroker at Ewa Beach Buy & Sell for 22-years, before his final retirement in 2011.
He was deeply loved and helped many people over the years.
He is survived by his wife; Kuulei (Saffery), Three sons; Donald, Robert Jr, and Charles. 7 grand children, and 11 great grand children.
Join us as we celebrate his life by attending his funeral service on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Hawaii Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation: 10:15a.m, services: 11:00a.m, Burial: 2:00p.m at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire, flowers welcome.
