I can still remember the time when i was still a grade school boy when my manong Uppo doing the signboard painting "PUGAOAN BARRIO HALL" for the Hall built during the administration of his uncle Minong, then barrio captain at that time. I admired him for his talent, i watched him made the decorative script, he was the only person i knew who can do things like that at that time, then instructed me to finish the rest of the letters, the work came out nice. I was motivated to continue more painting works with his supervision. I can say i owe it to manong Uppo the lessons i learned. This had inspired me to pursue a dream, a dream came true.
Kadagiti kakasinsin ko ken kabagyan, diak malipatan ni manong Uppo.
