Romarico Martinez Galat's Obituary
Romarico Martinez Galat was born on May 6, 1945 in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was the youngest of three children born to Mercedes Lagundino (Martinez) and Gorgonio Gonzalez Galat.
Romarico passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Oahu. He was 71 years old. Romarico was a retired electrician for AES Corporation.
Romarico attended St. Jude School in the Philippines. He earned an Electricians Certificate and after graduation began his life long career as an electrician.
Romarico married Katherine Calvan Riego on November 22, 1969.
Romarico was an excellent bowler and took great pride in his bowling skills. He was known to bowl a perfect 300 game. He enjoyed bowling, traveling to Las Vegas and listening to Filipino music.

Romarico is survived by his wife, Katherine Galat; daughter, Joyce Marie Galat Iwata; sister, Redenta M. Galat; two grandchildren, Jakob Galat Iwata and Ian Jaymes Galat Iwata.
Funeral Service for Romarico will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 20176 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Mass to begin at 11:30 a.m., burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
