Celebrating the Life of Ronald Harvey Medeiros
August 7th, 1937 – June 2nd, 2026
We celebrate the beautiful life of Ronald Harvey Medeiros, born in Hilo, Hawaiʻi, and passing in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi. Kind, supportive, confident, loyal, and hardworking, he brightened every gathering he joined.
Ronald opened a proud chapter when he joined the Honolulu Police Department as an HPD Police Officer. His steady dedication to public safety showed in every shift he served.
Away from his badge, Ronald loved sports and enjoyed sharing game days with family and friends. His energy for friendly competition sparked lively conversation and lasting smiles.
Ronald shared many joyful years with his wife, Caroldean. Together, they raised their children--Eric, Terri, and Ronald--and later welcomed five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Spanning five generations, their family brought endless stories, laughter, and cherished memories that enriched their lives.
Ronald’s legacy rests in every life he touched through service and steadfast love. As we gather to remember him, we choose gratitude for the strong example he set and the memories that keep his spirit bright.
