Ronald Mitsunori Yamagata's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Ronald Mitsunori Yamagata, born on August 1st, 1936 in Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii. His parents were Hatsuo Yamamoto and Yoshio Yamagata; he was the youngest of seven children. He attended Kapaa High School . After graduation he began his career as a Machinist. He retired in the 1990’s after serving for 40 years. He lived in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was married to Janet Saeko Inoue on April 11. 1957.
Ronald made friends wherever he went. His favorite place to visit was Las Vegas and he loved to travel.
His most important events in his life were the birth of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a very intelligent, loving, compassionate, friendly and outgoing man who loved to golf, wood work and enjoy family time.
He is survived by wife, Janet Saeko Yamagata; sons, Blane (Zelah) Yamagata and Byron Yamagata; daughter, Barbi (Gene) Shinno; brother, Philip Yamagata; sisters, Nancy Unemori, Janet Shigematsu and Leatrice Tanaka; grandchildren, Ryan Lopez, Janea Yamagata-Lopez, Zara and Zaden Yamagata; Shandra Shinno, Brttanie Silva and Ronson Yamagata; great-grandchildren, Tyrus, Noah and Tatum Lopez, Isabella Silva, Harlow-Marie Yamagata
Visitation to his funeral service will be held from 1:30-2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 19, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Family requests casual attire.
