Rosalie Quintal's Obituary
Rosalie Quintal
May 27th, 1942 – July 15th, 2026
“Creativity grows best when it is passed from one set of caring hands to another.”
Rosalie Quintal dedicated her life to sharing simple joys with everyone around her. She left this world in Kapolei, HI, after many years of turning everyday moments into chances for connection.
Patient and generous, Rosalie was most at home among paints, fabric scraps, and the small trees she shaped into living art. Friends and neighbors often admired the Bonsai gardens she loved to make, seeing in them her quiet creativity and care.
Her kitchen carried the same welcoming spirit. Baking days drew people together, and Rosalie gladly gave her time so others could learn and enjoy alongside her.
Arts & Crafts and outdoor activities filled her days, but her true gift was the way she shared those interests. Each project, hike, or garden visit became a way for Rosalie to lift others up and strengthen community ties.
Rosalie is survived by her daughter Shelly Parker and her son Sheldon Quintal, who carry forward her example of patience, creativity, and generosity.
The impact Rosalie made continues in every Bonsai leaf trimmed with care and every loaf baked for a neighbor. May her legacy remind us to offer our own talents, just as she did, so that community always grows stronger together.
