Rosalina Cedre Galzote's Obituary
Rosalina Cedre Galzote of Kapolei, Hawaii passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Rosalina was born in Bolinao, Pangasinan, Philippines on October 15, 1934. She was the 2nd of 7 children born to Gertrudes (Cos) and Aquilino Cedre.
Rosalina came to Hawaii in 1974 and worked at multiple jobs and retired from Yamaki Produce. After retiring, she and her husband had a side business selling cancanen (Suman and Patopat). If she was not making cancanen, watching grandkids or great grandkids, watching TFC channel, you would often see her with a deck of cards playing solitaire.
Rosalina is survived by her 10 children, Jessie (Vangie) Galzote, Merlina Javier, Marilou (Jack) Bye, Teofilo (Connie) Galzote, Jerry (Tina) Galzote, Mila (Tito) Budiao, Romulo (Kerry Ann) Galzote, Ernesto (Betty) Galzote, Jr., Aldrino (Maylene) Galzote, Miriam Galzote, two sisters; Estelita and Teresita Argones, one brother; David Cedre. She leaves a legacy of 34 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Celebration of life service for Rosalina will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Valley of the Temples, Main Chapel. Visitation from 11:00am , service to begin at 12:00pm. Lunch service at 1:00, followed by burial service at 2:00pm at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
