Rose Monzon Roque's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Rose Monzon Roque who was born on June 14, 1923 in Mejon, Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines to Irineo Monzon and Torivba Piamonte; she was the fifth out of six children.
Rose earned her Bachelors Degree in Science Education. After graduation, she began a career as a teacher and worked in an Auditors office in the Philippines; then she moved to Hawaii in 1967. She was married to Alfredo Roque. She was a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel for 20 years, until she retired. She lived in Ewa Beach and was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace.
She is survived by her daughter, Edith (Rolly) Limpin; sons, Alfredo (Melba) Roque, Alberto (Donna) Roque, Louie (Holiday) Roque and Arnel (Erika) Roque; daughter-in-law, Marcia Roque; 11 grandchildren, Raychell, Ramil (Gen), Alfred (Richelle), Dennis (Shannon), Red, John (Joreen), Christine (Lance), Jarrett, Kamakani, Natasha (Sebastian) and Christian (Payton); 15 great-grandchildren, Maliyah, Isabella, Jalen, Luke, Landon, Michilynn, Serenity, Trinity, Jahnaya, Jonah, Kepa, Shayla, Lanceson, Maximus and Heaven-Lee.
Visitation for her wake service will be held 5:30-9:o0 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; with prayer service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation for her funeral service will be held 10:00-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace; Mass will begin at 12:00 noon, with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Valley of The Temples Memorial Park.
