1940 – 2025
Rosita Cuello Cabagbag, age 85, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at Kuakini Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
Rosita was the beloved daughter of Emilio and Florentina Cuello. She was born in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, and later moved to Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, where she made her home beginning in 1973.
She was the devoted wife of the late Hermogenes Cabagbag and a cherished matriarch to her family. Rosita is survived by her sons Tito, Cresencio, Milton, and Ron Cabagbag, and her daughters Carmelita Cabato, Mercedes Daguro, Rosemarie Cabagbag, and Emy Terry. 21 Grand Children and 28 Great Grandchildren
A dedicated homemaker, Rosita found her greatest joy in raising her children and creating a warm, loving home for her family. Well, known throughout the Kalihi community, she was admired for her hardworking spirit and entrepreneurial heart. She built a livelihood selling fish—a trade through which she formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of many.
Rosita will be lovingly remembered for her strength, humility, resilience, and deep love for her family and community. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.
