Ruby "Mrs. T" Kazuko Takebayashi, 77, of Kaneohe, Oahu, passed away on July 15, 2015. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 15, 1938, to Jack Kazumi Kawasaki and Nora Sayoko Kamiya. She was a retired counselor at Mid Pacific Institute.
She is survived by husband, Fred S. Takebayashi; sons, Dean H. Takebayashi, Vern T. Takebayashi, Donn T. Takebayashi, Jon K.M. Takebayashi, Chad M. Takebayashi; daughters, Lori S. Ikeda, Lee M.T. Stevens; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
Visitation: 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Mid Pacific Institute; Bakken Auditorium; service to begin at 4:30 p.m., with refreshments to follow.

In lieu of flowers or koden, the family requests that donations be made to Mid-Pacific Institute (2445 Kaala Street, Honolulu, HI 96822), Ruby Takebayashi Endowment Fund, to perpetuate her legacy of nurturing Hawaii's keiki.
