Rudy Tamayo Barcarse's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Rudy Tamayo Barcarse (also known as Fillmon or Filemon Tamayo Barcarse), 88, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii passed away on July 9, 2018 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He was the second child of four born to Rosa (Tamayo) and Florencio A. Barcarse on March 24, 1930 in Magsingal, Bacar, Philippines.
He attended and graduated from McKinley High School. He also earned an Associates Degree in Business.
After graduation he worked for and retired as a bus driver for MTL, after eight years of service. He also was a United States Army veteran.
He lived in Kailua and was married to Mazie Santos on January 2, 1965 in Honolulu.
His most important and treasured events were having and spending time with his grandkids. Aside from his grandkids, he also loved fishing.
He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Valerie (Lance) Demicilio; son, Rudy Junior (Sara) Barcarse; five grandkids, Alina Demicilio, Hannah Barcarse, Esther Barcarse, Kalei Barcarse and Kealoha Barcarse.
A Committal service with military honors being rendered for Rudy on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
