Ruth was lovely indeed, but not born in 1971 (:! We know her at Central Union Church for the last 15 years where she had been active in the Preschool, Church Council, and Choir. Her contributions here in Hawaii were amazing -- from Church to Community. After her beloved dentist husband's death, she continued to live in the beautiful home they built in Haiku Plantation, Kaneohe, where she lead the homeowners' association, and was a social icon from a supporter to Governor Linda Lingle, annual Christmas parties, and often wedding receptions and other events for friends and acquaintances. She was active in Hawaiian culture, including being a beautiful Hula dancer.AND we all knew her as an avid Ohio State football fan!! She has been missed since leaving Hawaii for Ohio six months ago and will be remembered here with fondness and gratitude!
