Sabas Idian Jr's Obituary
Sabas Idian Jr., 88, of Kailua, Hawaii has passed away on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at Castle Medical Center. He was born to Dominga (Vismonte) and Sabas Idian Sr. in Kealia Kauai on October 7, 1929. He retired as a Machinist with the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He served in the armed forces from October 27, 1949 and was honorably discharged from the United States Army on December 16, 1952.
Sabas is survived by his wife, Elizabeth De Lima Idian; son, Nathan De Lima; daughters, Debbie Martin, Leonora Kaonohi and Michele "Kawai" Idian; brothers, Edward (Akiko) Idian, Andy (Sheryl) Idian; sisters, Leonora Edrina, Irene (Bill) Brown, Elena (Fred) Watson, Linda Torres; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughters, Yolanda Alameda and Char Harvest.
Memorial services for Sabas will be on Saturday January 13, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. with services to begin at 10:30 a.m.
