Sally Masue Mabe, born on August 2, 1946, in Puunene, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother whose life was defined by her dedication to family and quiet strength.
Sally was married to her beloved husband, Melvyn Mabe, with whom she built a life rooted in love and commitment. Throughout her working years, she held various roles, including positions at a bank, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and as a medical receptionist at a doctor’s office. Eventually, she chose to devote herself fully to her family as a stay-at-home mother, a role she embraced wholeheartedly.
In 2023, Sally relocated to Honolulu, where she continued to enjoy time with her loved ones. She is survived by her daughters, Jerri Mabe, Chris Mabe, and April Mabe; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and her dear brother Alfred "Suyeki" Kunitake Sr., all of whom will carry on her legacy of care and devotion.
Sally will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for her family.
