With a song in his heart and a smile that could light up any room, Samuel Badal lived a life overflowing with joy and love. Born on March 4th, 1950, in Surigao, Del Sur, Philippines, Samuel brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. His passion for karaoke was legendary among family and friends, often turning gatherings into unforgettable celebrations.
A devoted husband to Judith Badal and a proud father of twelve—Saike (Scott) Haneberg, Roma Magnaye, Rafael Badal, Marised Gillette, Mishael Badal, Marichel Badal, Nellysa Badal, Margaret Badal, Jonathan Badal, Michelle Badal, Junar Badal, and Judilyn Badal—Samuel's family was his greatest joy. His legacy continues through his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always cherish the happy memories shared.
Samuel's hardworking spirit shone brightly in his career as a Construction Foreman. His dedication and confidence inspired those around him, and his compassionate nature made him a supportive friend and colleague. He was the embodiment of being supportive, confident, hardworking, compassionate, and kind.
On June 3rd, 2025, Samuel passed away peacefully at his home in Waipahu, Hawaii. Though he will be deeply missed, his vibrant spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
We celebrate the beautiful life of Samuel Badal, remembering his kindness, his love for music, and the joy he brought into our lives.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 10am-2pm at Valley of the Temple Mortuary Makai Chapel.
