Sandra Akiona Nakoa's Obituary
Sandra Akiona Nakoa, a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at her residence she was 63 years old. Born to David Ahnin Akiona and Shirley Laverne Luke on September 17, 1952 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a retired resource teacher with the State of Hawaii, Department of Education – Resource office and a Teacher at Princess Victoria Ka‘iulani Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas “Chucky” Nakoa; sons, Kawika Charles Akiona Nakoa and Keone John Kaala Akiona Nakoa; daughter, Mahealani Leigh Akiona Nakoa; mother, Shirley Laverne Akiona, brother and Randall David Akiona.
Services for Mrs. Nakoa will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
